Why no DD coils for 3D

I've always wondered this myself. I don't think it is a frequency issue, since Minelabs have 28 frequencies and most of their coils are DD coils.
 
That said that the CZ's could not use a DD coil because of the way that they were made...
I would love to have a DD coil for my CZ, but it will never happen.
