I was pretty impressed with both of these targets. Each were fairly deep around 8 or so inches. Not too impressive given their size, however, the fact that I got a squawk of a nice signal from these is what got my juices going. In both cases the copper/brass portion of the relic are attached to a huge iron object. I really love the portable lock box lock, probably came from a leather lockable container, dates probably late 1700's early 1800's. I'm not sure how the SE sniffed it out, but it did and I'm glad I dug it. I was running manual sensitivity at 26, with my trusty 12X15 SEF coil. Same with the ring with the brass rivets. Those things usually don't have much of a signal, and the fact that they are drilled right through an iron ring....wow. As with the first target, this one barely had a hint of a good signal, very scratchy and iffy.
Anyway, thank you Minelab for producing such an awesome detector..
