Wide scan colis 5 pin "Where is Center"

Beale

New member
I have never used one of these. I you get a hit out on one end how do you get to Center?

Circles?
X?
Back and both?

Allof the above?

Beale.

The scanning field runs down the center, it does not go out to the side like concentric coils, so just make passes side to side.
In pinpointing, the pinpoint tone at the loudest will be not in the center of the coil but just north of where the rod connects to the coil.

The best way to pinpoint in disc is the wiggle and pull back method.
Find the target, keep wiggling the coil keeping the target in the center, when the signal drops out the target will be just under the coil or just behind it if it is shallow, just in front of the coil if it is a little deeper.
