I was able to pick up my wife an x-terra 70 for a real good price. She hasn`t hunted with me since we had our kids...now it`s just her and me so here we go again...lol ...grandma and grandpa are goin treasure huntin...hehe!!!

Good luck on this! I tried it ... bought the wife her own X-Terra and took her to one of my favorite spots. She stepped out of the truck after I had set the machine up, took two or three swings with it and hit on a dime. She had me dig the plug and she recovered a sweet 'merc'! Promptly handed me the detector and climbed back into the truck, got her novel out and started reading.

She's never wanted to go MDing again with me. So now I'm back to enjoying MDing! Think this is why we've stayed together all these years.

Oh, BTW ... took my wife fishin' once too!

I`m still laughing Michael...funny you should mention fishing. We did that together as well before the kids came along. She was so worried about them she didn`t enjoy the fishing. But hopefully that will change now too
 
I can relate.. Wife said she wanted to go with so i got her a new 705. she hasnt even opened the manual... lol..
 
Well, mine hasn't gone yet either....says she's just to busy ..lol...I threatened to sell it and get me a t2 or f75 to try out....she said I don't care do what ever you want...so I just may try to do some trading...if they're not going to learn how to use them then when she does go it wouldn't matter what machine she uses. Hmmm I may have an plan...lol
 
Wife`s 70 never got used...lol...plan "B" I am looking for a coil for the 70 (going to keep my stock coil from my 705) and I will just sell it and put the money in my e-trac fund...now that`s a plan...705/digger and e-trac...that sounds like a killer combo to me:thumbup:
