Wifey's Birthday! Guess what she got?

My wifes birthday yesterday. She wanted a metal detector like mine. Glad she didn't mean the Surfmaster PI!!!, just kidding, she wanted a Ace 250 and wasn't expecting it really but I got it for her and she was thrilled. We both went out today with our Ace 250's and pulled a lot of trash, even with the sensitivity down to four. I found one 61 nickel, two newer pennies, and another 64 nickel laying on top of the beach edge then another two cents in the parking lot near our truck. Wifey didn't find anything but trash and one small blue rock that we will investigate. I told her I thought she found the best piece today, a broken jagged top of a wine bottle that had a aluminum ring still attached which set off her detector. It was right under the spot where the kids jump off a swing in a park! She just probably saved a child from a lot of pain and a family a new hospital bill! We had fun. I have some minor surgery tomorrow around 9:00am so I won't go out for a while. My wife wants to go to a salt water beach so that is in our future plans. I told her it would be neat to take some photos of us out there detecting, she didn't think so! Hope all is well across the board, Tim

My wife has swung the CZ 20 but it's not her "thing" (until she finds her first gold that is :) )

Thanks Steve, I was glad she expressed an interest, I figure I can just keep showing her all of the finds posted here until she finds her first treasure to keep her going! Tim

Happy Birthday to the wifey and congrats on her new detector! She will learn to use it and the first time she brings out gold or/and silver.....there will be no stopping her when she gets the detecting fever! I know as it sure got me! Nothing like being outdoors talking with God and popping out treasures! Wish I still could do it like I once did!

God Bless!
