Will it mess up your machine if you put on a coil for another machine?

don't think it would mess it up but it may not work with that coil. some brands you can use some some of the coils on different machines like tesoro umax or fisher 1200 series but not on all brands.

Thanks Chuck. I wanted to try the 11 inch DD from my T2 on my Omega to see how much it weighs and if it makes it off balance and I did want to turn it on just to see if it would work, but I don't want to damage either part.

i just have the t-2 but i think maybe all the new technetic coils should work on all their machines. just make sure they have the same type connector. so coils won't work because of different connectors and different frequencies. should be some one on here that knows for sure. good luck.

The T2 coil won't work on the Omega. But you could try it to check the balance. I've got the bigger coil and it balances perfectly. Not much difference between the 11" and the stock as far as weight is concerned. Now performance is a different issue. Turns a kitten into a lion.

Thanks Shenandoah Digger. That basically answered my question. I was wondering how the balance would be with the bigger coil.
