New member
Found this beautiful winter poem and thought it might be a comfort to you.
It was to me, and it's very well written. I hope that you enjoy it too.

'WINTER'

Crap....It's Cold

The End

Elton , your taste in poetry is enviable ..... Truly a bit of prose where less is more.....
I had no idea we had such refined individuals on this forum...:surprised:
And yes, I do feel instantly inspired .....
Thanks for sharing...... Bill

The detector sits in the closet
And there aint no zinc in my pocket
I sit on my #$S, there's snow on the grass
The charger just hangs in the socket

I can't go and dig in the dirt
or rub indians all over my shirt
I'm awake all winter long, When the blizzard blows strong
cause I'm still stuck on silver alert!
