wireless earphones??

Look for a deal on a set of TDK WR700 headphones. Generally they can be found in the $95-125 range.
Sennheiser makes some too, but they tend to be a bit more pricey.

I use the Auvio type and I like being wireless-they don't make that type anymore--so just a vote for going wireless

I use these and they work well with the 705. They eat batteries a little too quicky but if you use rechargables, then no worries there.

Ive found them for as low as 60$ on-line...

That particular model doesn't have a portable transmitter. The ones that you'd want are model number 33-283.

Absolutely! The TDK WR700 phones are excellent!

The Auvio 33-283 sold by Radio Shack but discontinued last year work perfect with the 705 and 70 they went for over a hundred but were discounted for 23.00 I bought two pair I wish I hade them I let them go when I sold my detectors now that I have a new 705 I need one bad.
