Wireless head set for metal detectors

Just curious does anyone out there had or has any expierence with wireless head phones for metal detecting. Do they actually work or is there a discredit using them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
I have used the "Auvio" wireless ear buds and they do just fine. I understand they also make the wireless headphones and I have read that they do good as well.
From what I understand you want to stay away from "BlueTooth" because of the lag time.
 
Someone posted on a forum earlier that TDK wireless headphones work great with no delay.
