Wondering what experiences good or bad the other users have had with wireless headphones. This will go along with my Ace 250.
I just ordered a set from eBay item #290280790890 for what seems like a great price if they perform. This model has good reviews and was originally priced much higher. It also has a volume control. The transmitter could be easily attached by velcro or otherwise to the Ace. Please let me know if any have tried these and also PLEASE let me know if posting a reference to the auction site or inquiring about a non-Garrett product violates any forum rules. If so you can delete this posting and I will get the hint.

I use wireless and so does John - but a different brand than that. They work great and I'm happy with mine as is John I believe.

Tulsa,

I use Macally Wireless head phones and they work great. They use bluetooth technology which is 2.4 GHz which does not interfere with my GTI 2500 which is at 7.2 kHz. I also have my cell phone which is at 900 mHz, so when I go detecting I have all three of them on with no problem. By the way, what operating frequency does the the transmitter (little box with dongle) run at, just curious?

Uncle Willy: What brand do you use? Any ideas on what John uses? I tried the Macally headphones and they did not work out well for me. There were delays and sometimes they just stopped working. I tried new batteries, and a better adapter, but without success. There was another post that I am going to check out, but am curious about what others are using. Thanks.

I bought Free Pulse Wireless from Logitech early this summer and have had good success with them.
Blue tooth technology Frequency: 2.4Ghz
Adjustable volume and behind the head application.
Full charge about 8 hours use and have built in Lithium-ion battery.
Paid about $90.00 Canadian recommended for i-pod but worked good for my usage
