Woke up to snow this morning and stil coming down. Got about four inches or more so far..

White out blizzard and-41 wind chill in this part of the country:thumbdown:

The only thing I went out for today was to fill up my bird feeders. Those poor critters have to dig in the snow to get seeds. So, I have 2 feeders running right now. :)

Yeah I was born and raised in it back in the Midwest but that was when I was young and stupid. I got smart in my twenties and moved to California and then a few other places and finally wound up here. I've lived in 12 states and about 35 different cities in my life. We don't get snow here often - just rain. In February of 2007 we had 80 degree days all month. Probably be 80 below this coming February.

I got squirrel feeders and a bird feeder or two. But we got squirrels all over the place. They use the power lines out in front of the house as their freeway then take an of framp down my feeder wire or cable wire, across the top of the house to the back porch roof, then down the big lilac bush to the feeder mounted there. One of them plays with my dog. They have become buddies. We also have racoons and possums. Some years ago we had a monkey hopping around in our bushes and lilac trees. For a few years we had six wild, green, parrots hanging around. First time my wife saw them she thought they were funny looking pigeons. I told her pigeons don't hang upside down on the wires. :)
