While Sherry slept after getting home yesterday, I ran out to get her medicines the hospital prescribed. While waiting for the pharmacy to fill the prescriptions another gentleman sat down, also waiting on meds. I was wearing the Minelab vest and hat and he asked if I had a metal detector and I replied I do have a couple. He asked if they were Minelabs. I said one is an Explorer II and the other a Tesoro Stingray for water use. He said he too has a Minelab. I asked if it was also an Explorer and he said it was and he said he has a Garrett water detector. We chatted about where to hunt or where we hunted and now no longer can. I think he was a bit discouraged as he mentioned telling the age of coins by their conditions and they seemed fairly new. Not much in the old stuff. I did mention to him Findmall on the internet. We talked a little about detecting clubs and field hunts.

Then the prescriptions for me were ready. Never did introduce myself...my head is still not caught up with my body.

So if you made it here friend, welcome to the forum, Have to get together sometime so we can chat and detect as well - find some old stuff too hopefully.
