Has anyone detected the yasgur farm site. just curious and if so what kind of stuff did you find. It seems like a lot of stuff was just left in the mud after the concert. That would be some great souvineers. Thanks LaDigger

Yes, I have read somewhere of a guy who hunted the site, years ago. He found some clad and random camper type debri. Go figure, the stuff in circulation in 1969 would not be too exciting.

Unless you had some kind of provenance proof (ie.: "pop pipe from woodstock" or "memorial penny from woodstock", etc...) and could find someone Ebay to take you seriously, I don't think anything that could be found there, would be worth a hoot. Perhaps in 100 yrs, THEN a clad coin or pop-pipe documented as a woodstock site find *might* be worth something. And even if you could sell something with the woodstock provinence connection, and if it did sell for some value, I can imagine how fast all sorts of yahoo's would pop up on the auction sites, claiming all kinds of metal debri were also "found at woodstock". Just doesn't seem documentable at this point in time, too recent in history.

I would hate to guess what you would find in old condom pacts or any other kind of foil.
