SNOW!!!

We've had nothing like this since the Blizzard of '93!!! Back then we got about 3 feet of snow. Last night we got 8 1/4 inches here on top of my hill. We got a little more than that in the higher elevations (big mountains in my area). Got the day off from work and will have another one tomorrow. I know this is NOTHIN to you folks "Up North" but this is big time stuff to us down here.

Terrific pics and so far you have gotten more of the white stuff than I have where I live and I am farther North! I think you should rename the thrid pic snowlady as she doesn't look like a snowman! Stay warm and glad you get to stay home and enjoy your white stuff for a couple of days...before you have to drive in it! Some of the white stuff fell this afternoon and after dark and covered the sidewalks and streets white quickly....but I don't believe we got a lot but may get more as it is coming from the West through Oklahoma and towards MO! Well it is winter and I can't expect anything else but cold weather, ice and the white falling flakes! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

The most we have had is about 3" - 4" at one time this year in my neck of the woods. Normally we have had a couple big storms by now with a foot at a time. It has been a very light winter in my area, but it has remained cold! Now down in the SW corner near lake Michigan, they have had a few feet!

Hi LIsa! Love the Snowman (or is that Snow-woman)? We've all heard the expression "Home is where the heart is" and after looking at the pictures of your home and surrounding area, I'm homesick!

You have a nice place. Now you can get the ole four wheeler out and have some fun in all that snow.

We got about 5" here in Connersville, Indiana. That is 5" too much for me. How come it can't snow in Michigan and south of Indiana, and leave us alone? LOL Snow is okay, but the cold is not.

I just went to the mailbox and put out my trash by the curb and found out I have about 4 inches of the white stuff in front from the wind blowing it upward onto my driveway! The backyard only seemed to have about two inches, so I sure was surprised when I had to walk out into the deeper cold stuff....nothing melting very much as way too cold! Lots of schoosl still closed because of the colder weather! Now, they say the flock of birds in Sullivan, MO were hit and killed by a Semi as a lady saw it heppen...soooo???? May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Nice pics, Lisa! Your home looks so pretty and your snowgal is perfect. Has to be a snowgal because she looks so "put together"...lol. Hope you guys have had fun playing in the snow. We have been snowy and cold here too...haven't seen grass around here since before Christmas. We have had snow every day and lots of ice in the upcoming forecasts. Ick! Still cold down there?
