Workin' da Cut.

Didn't have a chance to hit the brine today, so headed for the freshwater for a short stint. After a recent weather event, found that even a lake beach had developed about an 18 inch cut. A 1930 wheatie was the oldest piece(not pictured), plus the usual suspects, besides the nitro piece(costume ring).

two small pieces of steel wire together, kind of like the anti-tamper seals on an old electric meter. I find a ton of these at this location, old hunting lodge nearby, my guess is seals on liquid food stuffs of some type, but just a guess.

Both sides are stamped, but many times only parts of words, as in the company name. But many have NJ or NY as state of origin.

These are interesting targets to discern, being a mix of lead and steel.
