I learned long ago no one will change the others mind or opinion.....and no one is totally right or wrong and reality usually exists somewhere in the middle of 2 opposing opinions.

Pro gun? yes I am, but as a blanket policy! NO!!!!!
Provided as follows....
1. They are purchased legally by competent people. I have no problem with background checks. If you're a good person in the past, hopefully you will be in the future.
2. Used responsibly. Home defence, hunting, sport shooting and the occasional revolution is good!.....well, maybe not the last part
3. Death penalty if for any, and I mean any crime where a firearm is present or in the possession of any member of a crime PERIOD!!! Other deadly weapons (sharp edged, blunt instrument, or dead cats used to intimidate or threaten.....LIFE in prison with a daily threat of becoming someones prison "wife".

Pro life? Sometimes....but for everyone and every instance NO!!!!!

1. This is a very, very extreme instance but, might still make you think about absolutes.
Suppose, God forbid, one of your beautiful daughters was abducted.... weeks later she's found alive and healthy and is taken to a hospital for an evaluation to make sure she's really O.K.
It turns out she's pregnant with some degenerates child, during the exam (MRI, CAT, and other scientific stuff) they show you that the baby will be born with it's brain outside it's head, or heart only 1/2 developed, or a plethora of other things that can go majorly wrong that would preclude any chance of a live birth or a very short life without tubes, wires, with 0 chance of existing(not living) beyond for a few moments).....now what? would you make your child go full term with that kind of memory........or a shorter more HUMANe ending. I've been there (minus the degenerate) and buried my twin daughters and hope god does'nt damn me for eternity
