WOT for Explorer XS

Can anyone help me with detector settings and characteristics when using the Explorer XS with the 15" W.O.T. I just don't seem to be getting the depth beyond the factory 10.5" coil when relic hunting on civil war sites?

Don't own one and never used one, hopefully someone can help..I have to say its quite light for a large coil and coverage for a large field or beach should be super..

Hi
I use the XS WOTS combo and love it. I did find that you have turn the sens. down a lot lower then the stock coil, but you dont loose any depth that i noticed. The settings i start with are Sens. Man. from 18 to 23 Gain at 9, Tones Ferrus, Fast on and Deep on, Iron mask from 12 to 16 depending on the site. I know this might sound like an add for it but one of my first silver finds with it was a Half Dime at approx. 8" nice loud signal. I use mine almost all the time. Just keep the Gain up and go slow.
