WOT question

Anything on market to keep 15" coil from tipping back and forth? <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?">

the new EX2 lower rod has a tendency to notch/eat into the plastic of the rod attachment bracket/support of the WOT when the lower rod and coil are folded for storage or travel (I fold mine when in the car trunk). If you dont pay attention, the rod will put a hole into the WOT.
The XS rod does not do this but needs to be shaved/whittled to fit the EX2.
Ask me how I know <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">

That is good to know! I did find a support bracket made by Birch Engineering. Has anyone used this or know of a dealer that carries them. The one made for Minelab coils will not work on the WOT! Ask me how I know. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

Sun Ray's option . . . . they have a coil support bracket but I do not know if it works on any coil other than the stock 10.5" coil shown.

Thanks Andy and Charles. The WOT did come with two
rubber washer, but size of coil still cause some
problems. I have tighten down coil, but have some fear of stripping the plastic nut.
I think that Sunray bracket may work, if it attaches
to the shaft and not fit on plastic nut holding WOT
on. Need to see a different view of it. <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":(">
