I wanted a G2 or a Gold Bug Pro but I have a F75se . Would the first two I mentioned be any better then the F75se ? It would be for working in iron and looking for gold jewelry . Thanks, GS

I don't think there's enough difference in performance to warrant buying a G2 detector.

The F75SE with the right settings should work just fine finding gold jewelry and working around iron.

You have one of the best detectors made bar none in my opinion. If I can get a good deal on one I'd get rid of most of my collection because it would be all I would use.

F75 ltd or SE or std. my favorite series of detectors in hot areas I use je disc 4 sens 75 as a starting point and 2f I adjust accordingly as the area permits now if you wanted to and could do so get a g2 it is faster or has a slight edge in the worst iron infested areas but don't replace the 75 add it to you're arsenal to cover all bases just my 2cents I would never suggest how one should spend his or her hard earned $ $$ HH. Thanks for your feedback guys. A buddy of mine has a G2 and getting rid of it so I thought maybe there were a advantage over the F75 . GS.
