Wow..we lucked out...

we have 2 Nativity sets..one USA - the other Spanish. First box we opened we found the USA Nativity so we can wish everyone a Merry Christmas...otherwise we'd have to wish everyone Feliz Navidad. :)

On a further note: Took the van to a repair place for an estimate...still waiting for a call back as the guy has to find parts and figure out the labor to go with it...he did say however we do not have to replace the power steering pump..just a few hoses and pressure lines. He guesstimated around $200 to $250. Maybe he can find parts that are usable at a junk yard. Sherry keeps telling me we have to tighten our belts...so tight now the belt feels like a dog collar.

Hi Pete, I truly wish I had the financial ability to donate to your cause by giving you a newer vehicle but unfortunately I cannot. You will however remain in my prayers for a happy outcome. Merry Christmas Pete and God bless you and yours this holiday season and throughout the coming new year.

Although you had bad news, you do have some good news for it could have been worse and tightening our belts, I know exactly what you mean! Went and got a new supply of meds ($101.00) with food ($200.00 and Misc another $100.00 for things I needed after 2 months of not shopping and the cash register ring up $402.00 with my SS Income only $602.00, so gotta tighten belt even farther, but God is the One Who supplies all our needs and He will and does by supplying the money in different ways! Me bank account runneth dry, but me cup runneth over with the Lord's blessings in my trials and troubles by leaning on and trusting in Jesus no matter what trials are faced! My prayer: May God Bless you with the money to pay and low prices for the Van's repair! Amen! Ma Betty

I believe the van will be taken care of my friend. I have come to learn a while back. When I pray about a vehicle that needs fixed, I pray that no matter the cost That He would make it so I can afford the fix.

I do appreciate the thought and prayers. That's enough for me. Maybe I should go to the bank - now that I have been in this job for almost a year and get a loan for a newer car. I hate doing that. I always felt if I didn't have the cash...I don't need it. God will provide for my needs...my wants aren't that important. Again thanks for the thought and prayers Brother.

I agree - God will meet our needs no matter the cost. God is GOOD all the time and all the time God is GOOD.
