I found an old bottle while diving in one of my lakes this summer. I just put it with the rest and didn't think much about it. UNTIL someone on this site offered me 125.00 for it.

I got to do a little research BECAUSE I was offered so much and that perked my interest. So off went an email. I found out that there are only 3 intact known in existance. I also found out that it was made probably between 1854 and 1860.

Anyway I am still trying to estimate its worth. It sometimes pays to do a bit of research before you sell.

Great find! Just think if you were offered $20.00 you may have sold it. I better get my old bottles out and look. I found an old strychnine bottle with skull and crossbones with the cork in it. There is still some in it. I dug it out from an old shed dirt floor.
