My headphones lose power after two or three days without being turned on. I replaced the battery but it did not help. Any ideas?

When you turn them off make sure you hit - and + at the same time and listen for the down tones

They are Deus 1 phones and I always turn them off with the plus and minus buttons. The display disappears. I'll check to see if there is a tone as I have never held them close enough to hear a tone when I turn them off but the screen surely does go blank. I have remote headphones for another detector and they stay charged for months.
