General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

WTB ..Etrac or SE pro ..

I have an old xs that I have been using , but want to upgrade to an Etrac , or pro.. , I was wondering if any of you new ctx users would part with your unused detectors.. I would like a nice condition detector.. I see two of them went on eBay this week for around seven hundred .. I would rather buy not using eBay if possible. Seems that the prices are dropping fairly fast since the 30 30 came out.. I've been detecting over 30 year , and have come to like my xs.. If you got a good Etrac , or se pro that you could give me a good deal on.. please pm me.. thanks. Todd
 
Actually two of them went for sale this week for no less than $900. I have one for sale $800 + shipping. It comes with an extra battery pack and coil. Ebay fees would cost me $100 and I dont want to give them the money so it is up on here.
 
Have chose a new detector...Thanks to all of you who replied....I went with the explorer , but sure had a hard time choosing between Etrac and se.... Thanks again everyone..
 
Guess I'm back in the market again...dam...decided on a detector..came up with the price..then the seller backed out.... I understand the love of a detector...kind of emotional...lol. ....So I am still looking !
 
Todd...keep your eyes peeled and opened because just a week or so ago at least 2 different forum sponsors had nice SE packages for under $600 to $700.
I almost bought it myself but then remembered I have an explorer 2....2 used SE's...and a brand new SE in the box... so kinda' hard to justify buying a 4th one.:biggrin:

No way you should have to spend more than $700 for a nice used one with some accessories with it....and possibly even a sunray probe on it for that price.
 
OK .. I finally got me one on the way .... Se Pro ...with as probe..woohoo...And the price is about right..About time used detector prices got in line with what they are...Never understood how I bought my dfx ten years ago for 740 dollars ...and ten years later people are buying them used for five hundred...I think the thirty thirty sure helped the used detector market ...Now I should sell one of my other four detectors...lol.... Thanks for all the offers guys.... I'm all done buying for a while !
