Seems that my Musky (Minelab Musketeer Advantage) realy liked the rained that we finally got up here as I saw a pretty good increase in depth using it the other day. My ole trusty digger worked ok but it would of been easier with a better one. If any of you have something that you want to sell give me a shout at skiwhiz1960@gmail.com with what you have and how much you want for it. Thanks! Steve.
Steve, I don't have a digger for sale but wanted to let you know the A.M. Leonard soil knife is very sturdy and reasonably priced at under 30.00 with a heavy duty sheath. I have had mine almost 3 years and it works great for me. HH

Thanks Ray, I have ran across this digger while searching & sounds like a real good one but I had a fella tell me that they aren't very good when the ground is dry and hard, he said it is hard to penetrate the ground because of the width of the blade I believe is what he said.
Actually it works as good or better than most in dry hard soil if sharp and used properly. You push it into the soil as you wiggle it back and forth and it will work it's way into the hard dirt like a charm.I have dug hundreds of plugs in dry hard dirt that would have been almost impossible with the knife blade type diggers without breakage.
