I recently gained permission to hunt a historic home in the heart of the war of 1812 region. The house was built right after the war, in 1816 and has 9 acres of property. I've already found a musket ball on my first outing with my F5. But the catch is, the permission has a condition. I have to bring a buddy along who is friends with the owner. This buddy doesn't have a metal detector, but wants to borrow mine. So if I want to hunt this land (and I do!!) I need another detector.
I had a Tejon, I know it's a great relic machine. I regret selling mine, so I want to get another. I will lend the F5 to my buddy and use the Tejon. The F5 is more of a machine that you can use without hours and hours of experience learning it's "language". I already have that experience with the Tejon so this seems a logical move.
I'm looking for one that is in excellent shape. If you have one you are thinking of selling, please let me know. I will be using Paypal when I find the right one. Please note that I'm in Canada, so if that's a problem don't bother. (It's not really a problem, but some people think it is. I've bought and sold a few machines across the border with zero problems). Please respond to cncdanb@gmail.com. I'll be in Chicago until Sunday, so I'll be away from the computer until then so don't think I'm ignoring your responses!
Thanks,
Dan
