WTB XP DEUS

Hey guys I would like to purchase an Xp Deus detector. If you have one you would like to part with let me know

Ah ha ha ha ha I hear ya rebel! I agree the Deus is a great relic machine. I’m really torn with it and the Nox 800 at this point. Kind of disappointed how minelab is rolling them out though. Kinda like Chevy coming out with a new truck and making 3 to start off with lol. I would try the Nox over the Deus but they are as about as rare as the buckle I found lol ! Thanks so much for the compliment on it buddy. I hope you find ya one like it but twice as nice

I have been relic hunting for over 20 years and never have never seen a better buckle found. I live in north carolina and since my retirement of 30 years in law enforcement I spend all my spare time relic hunting. Have tried ever detector out there and have been using the deus for over a year and have been doing great with it . I have a friend who was one of the first on the list to get an equinox and let me try it. I could not tell any difference between the two in depth. I tinnk you will be satisfied with either one. You do have an advantage with the equinox being waterproof. Be safe and good luck with your hunting.

I think what bothers me the most about the deus is #1 all the times I’ve used on I can’t tell if I’m digging something deep or shallow and #2 the id at depth is all over the place for me. Maybe it was the detector I had or maybe it was just me. If yours does this how do you cope with these issues. I love the everything about the deus but these 2 issues

Since most relics are deep your best finds will come from those faint repeatable signals that give no ID at all. Go slow and listen for those. WE hunted a big bullet spill (Train car soldiers blew up) and all targets were 10" + and that gave only a slight hum but no ID. Dug over 300 bullets.Only other detector that could pick them up was a nautilus DMC 2B.

I find the faint repeatable tones are deep and I always dig them
