General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Have an itch to try something different. Silver Sabre Umax has the pp button and standard 8" brown coil. Looking for ???? detector. Let me know what detector you have to trade for. Only BH will consider is the Landstar.

a BH Landstar or Radio Shack 3000 version for a
Tesoro Silver Umax unless your willing to thow in some
MONEY.

True but would BH repair a old "traded" unit for nothing like Tesoro has done for me? I mean that's something one should take into consideration.
I know if I traded for that Tesoro Silver and sent it in for a tune up or repair, Tesoro will get it done for nothing. Even if I'm not the original owner.
That's just the way Tesoro is.
But then maybe Bounty Hunter would do it also. Just food for thought.
 
I shouldn't stick my nose in but I couldn't resist - there is no way that I would even consider trading in a Tesoro Silver (any model of the Silver) for a BH Landstar or Radio Shack 3000. Keep your Tesoro it will blow the other 2 out of the water. I had the Radio Shack 3300 and some people like it but I couldn't get it back to Radio Shack fast enough. It was a total dud. In my opinion you are not going to find a better detector than a Tesoro. Steve.
 
Somebody slap me! They are great detectors, Going to keep it for a while longer!
 
I was going to look you up & give you a slap but I knew you would come to your senses, lol. Really though you can't beat Tesoro detectors in my opinion - I don't care what model or how old it is. I think you are making a good move in keeping it. Steve.
