Hi Everyone ...
Im new to this forum & was hoping to pick some brains here. Ive recentley returned to metal detecting after 15 years away ...bought myself a 2nd hand X terra 30 have done some beach detecting with not much luck & have been out on 2 rallies, had a musket ball & plenty of nails etc the last rally on Tuesday i had enough iron to make my own tractor ! ..My partner & i have recentley got some land which we can go out on from 4th Jan its not much but its a start after loads of knock backs. The thing is when i did this years ago (then i had 3 farms) i was getting Roman coins a few hammerds crotal bells lots of nice bits ..all with a Viking 1 & my next machine was a CScope 660. Can any one give me any advice, hint or tips please... wasnt expecting gold but a coin would be nice ...:sad:

Thanks Baglady :help:

Baglady, Welcome to the Xterra Forum!!! I have used the Xterra 30 and it is a very good machine. If you hunt alot of open fields, you might consider the Medium Freq
7.5 10.5 DD search coil. You will get more depth and more coverage with it and it will still be sensitive to small items. Check out the FAQ section at the top of the forum.
Alot of good info is there on your Xterra 30..

Welcome to the fourm. And like Morelic said check out the faqfaq post at top of page. Loads of information on there for all the x-terras.

Welcome aboard! You have found the spot for info! Congrats on your X-Terra 30! That FAQFAQ is a wealth of info, Beale.
