Hello Everyone!
We had 4 inches of the white stuff the last couple days, so I took out the X-t30 for a swing to see how it would handle it.
In a word, GREAT!
Just crank up the sensitivity all the way and go. The fixed ground balance seems to work well in my neck of the woods and the good thing about the snow is you can always tell where you have been. Gliding it across the surface of the snow I could still pick up targets 4-6" below. Cold but rewarding!
A great detector with infinite possibilities. Found over $3.00 in clad and a few gaming tokens before I had to go thaw out my fingers.
They are predicting rain in the next few days so I am looking forward to more outings before the big freeze!!
