I'm thinking of buying the X-Terra 705 gold pack for hunting gold rings in large grassy areas. I like the idea of the higher frequency for gold and for less EMI, it is much lighter than my CTX which I think will help a lot in big areas with lots of coil swinging between targets and I hunt at night so I like the backit display . I also want to get the small coil for tot lots. Just wanted to bounce this idea off you guys to see what you thought before I make the purchase.

It's a great MD....Got the same package 13 months ago,took that long to find my first gold ring,the second came 2 weeks later,both found at the beach....A lot of clad and crap gets in the way while looking for those gold rings! The 5x10 is my preferred coil at the beach or on the soccer fields..........i like the 6" HF DD for the side lines and concession areas..I have been very pleased with the other silver and gold finds I've made with the 705 this past year..........GL
