X-Terra 705 - New Owner/New Member

Hi All,

I just purchased an X Terra 705. I am an Etrac owner and have a pretty good handle on that machine. Really looking forward to using this machine as I really like the feel, sounds, and set up of it. Just familiarizing myself with Digger's "Understanding your X Terrra" which is a fantastic resource for users. Anyway just wanted to say Hi to everyone and this site is also a fantastic resource for Minelab users.
 
i had the e-trac also , great machine ; you will like the x-terra just as good . the x-terra is so fun to used ! + this fourm is super !!

I can't disagree with anything in your opening post. Even though I have an FBS unit, the 705 is my go-to machine.
The differences between FBS and V-Flex are such that I think you'll find they compliment each other very well. It's likely the reason that Minelab decided to incorporate both technologies in the CTX.
