X-terra 705 use only answer, Please!!

[size=large][/size
I ]I think it would be good

I use my 705 around the volleyball courts and have found lots of coins and a few gold rings. Gold rings come in at 6-8. Have never tried it in the wet salt sand, I use my Excal for that. Mostly use the small 6" HF and oval HF 6x10" ( actual 5 1/2" x 9 1/2" ) coil which is not waterproof, that is why I stay in the dry sand. I think the 705 does a great job in this area. I also use the Radio Shack wireless phones and they work great, can get about 5-6hours of use before having to recharge them. I like these wireless because you stay cooler during the summer months. I have a Xterra70 - the older model before the 705
With the 5x10" DD HF coil on I have good success on even tiny jewellery pieces down to 8"
I dont even use a scoop pinpointing is so precise that I dig with a small hand trowel
A Garrett Pro Pointer is highly recommended especially to speed up recovery of the very small earings etc
good luck

You can play clean up by going to "Hunted Out " areas and running your 705 in Prospecting Mode with the 5" X 10" Eliptical, super sensitive and deep seeking, and good practice for prospecting if should ever get to go to gold country!
