X-Terras and the beach

Smudge

New member
I have been told the X-Terras will also work well in the wet salt sand of my local beaches (no black sand).

Is this true?

Does anyone use their X-Terras there?

Wow.

Nobody uses the X-Terra at the salt beach?

They must not be any good there.

Ok, thanks folks. I've got my answer.

 dry sand great wet sand not my 1st choice am sure others use it there but depth would be limited. IMHO

I do good in dry sand at the beach, near wet sand i have to turn the sensitivity way down. Not my first choice either for wet sand. I cover the box with a plastic bag and seal it with elc tape to seal out even the salt air.

At the top of the page is an FAQ with information concerning Saltwater Beach use. And if you care to make even a mininal effort you can use the Search feature of Findmall and limit the forum selection to this forum and enter Search terms like "beach", "saltwater", "salt water" etc.

And lastly nobody knows where your "there" is. Hard to elicit local Geographic information without the Geographic part!
