A super cool hodagraph. Looking for deep silver it may help you guys who hunt coins . Silver hits bottom of the screen, right quadrant. Me like
 
I thought that Andy's book showing the trace going from upper right to lower left on the XY Screen
 
The weaker/deeper the signal, the shorter the line. To the point that you won't be able to see what you hear.
Same goes with the TID.

You are correct it goes from lower left to upper right for non ferrous targets.
