X35 coil - Brief First Impressions

Just got the 11" X35 coil this morning, charged it and went on a brief foray to my test garden. Impressions are:

1. The charge clip is MUCH easier to attach to the coil.

2. The coil seems a little heavier than my old 11" one. Haven't checked the specs so it may be my imagination.

3. If you use a program similar to Gary's Ultimate, use 4 khz boost, do a pumping ground balance and then reduce the resulting number by 2, you will be in unexplored territory as far as depth, stable signal ID, or both.

4. Unmasking seems improved, at least in my test garden where I know exactly what the targets are.

5. No connectivity issues at all.

I feel my x35 9" coil has better depth than my standard 11" coil. The 9" hits my coin garden coins better and higher above ground than 11". That was using all same settings or as close as possible. One thing I noticed is I can run x35 coil at 98-99 sensitivity and it's smooth.

does the x35 have "normalize" like the old LF coil? if so what freq is it on?

thanks for all the reports much appreciated.

Yes - Manual says 18 khz.

Kool thanks appreciate that !!

I'm really liking the new X35 coils, just wish they had started with these coils and made the LF 11" and LF11x13 redundant now...
I got the 9 inch X35 to add to my HF elliptical and LF11 inch, I think boost mode is a great addition and it does increase depth I'm even thinking about going with the X35 11x13 as that should be a depth monster in boost mode!
Separation is great with the 9 inch very stable seems a bit heavy next to a LF9" coil.

I have the x35 11'' coil and I love it. Very stable and the higher frequency has made some finds in my heavily hunt areas. I sold both of my LF coils.

Yeah I'm really liking this x35 coil. Very stable. Sold my LF 11" and 9" HF coil

Yes I am in the same boat as you guys, selling my LF11" and going to get the X35 11"x13" to go with my X359" and HF elliptical coil. I think with these 3 coils I have every type of hunting covered from deep targets to heavy trash filled parks...

If anyone is looking for a LF 11" coil PM me this one is now for sale :)
