Ok, considering a coil for working higher trash areas such as my local parks & schools with my XL Pro.
I see quite a few posts about folks using the 5.3" coil and getting good results, but don't really recall seeing much about the 4x6 bluemax DD shooter coil for the 6.59khz machines such as the XL Pro.
From what I have read, the "windshield wiper" effect of a DD search coil sounds like it would give me better coverage area and still have excellent trash & target seperation since the stip is narrow in width. Also how about depth on these DD coils? Better or worse than a 5.3" would be?
Has anyone used the Whites 4x6 bluemax DD shooter coil on a XL Pro or one of the 5900/6000 models? I would be very interested in hearing your comments and suggestions on this.
