Took it out for the first time this evening. 5 bullets a eagle button and a cannonball shard. Not too bad of a day. I've got a lot to learn. I was just using the relic mode. What settings do you guys recommend to relic hunt? My ground balance was 73-75. I ran it on about 77. Had a little issue w it falsing when I bumped stuff but not too bad. I'm curious to know what setting you all recommend.
Thanks

There are many ways to run the Deus when relic hunting. To get most of the finds different settings with different hunts would need to be used/done. Here's what I recommend since you are a new user. Try running 12khz, disc between 6.2 and 6.8 depending on the iron/nail size,
2 tone. Set first tone to lowest freq and 2nd tone to the highest freq setting. Reactivity 1, silencer 0 or -1, tracking GB. Iron vol can be used or not. Sensitivity at least 90, try 93. TX power=2.
Now if you get into what seems like a lot of iron you can either raise your reactivity setting from 1 to 2 or 3, ensure silencer= -1..
Or go the 18khz freq, and change your reactivity to 2 or 3, ensuring silencer= -1.
You will need to slow our sweep down when in medium to heavy iron.
You mention some coil noise when hitting objects. You can apply some ground notch.
Eventually after more Deus experience you can dial your disc setting down lower and squeak out some more finds that are mask.

Sounds good. I'm not sure what settings I was running. I do know I was running 6.0 discr 11.?khz sensitivity 90. Not sure about the other setting. I will check though.
