Xp deus gold prospect

Yes, I also like the HF 9" coil too. Gold Field with Disc IAR around 2 or 3, sensitivity at a level that does not cause coil knock and falsing, ground balance carefully, any frequency above 26 kHz, a bit of threshold tone maybe if it stabilizes the background noise, keep the coil low and slower than normal to get those .25 gram and smaller nuggets, dig anything that has a number above around 20 that has a decent tone. Depending on the site, you may just be miniature relic hunting and will dig lots of lead, tiny screen wire, nail fragments, tin shards, modern aluminum, brass shell casings and just maybe some gold!!!! You can set up your own custom Gold Field program in your saved programs and maybe have a simple 2 tone copy of one of the discrimination programs that includes iron volume next door. I use Gary Blackwell's Pitch program set on 31 kHz with the adjusted extremely high pitched tone for non-ferrous and toggle back and forth a lot.

good luck,
Jeff
