Xp Deus profile screen

New member
Good Evening To All ,

Just looking for an answer and I'm hopeful that someone on forum will know the answer.

XP Deus profile screen settings as we all know with newest update 5.1 we have 3 options to choose from for our screen profile
1- xy

2- horse shoe

3- ?? This is the one that's confusing me when I set it as my profile I don't get any readings is it a specialized setting for non motion or something else ? would someone please be kind enough to fill in the blanks I like to think I'm fairly proficient with my Deus but this one has me stumped.

Look forward to seeing your answers.

Merry Christmas!

I do 5,2 and your 2 options are graphic and id norm. XY has to be loaded off one of the basic programs that uses it. ID norm doesnt change your main menu screen but lets you either run with id norm off or on. I think it will only run off the LF and X35 coils not the HFs. Hope this helps.

You are referring to the options that are under the OPTIONS >> CONFIGURATION >> PROFILE >> GRAPHIC menu . . . . . you have three choice which are:

1) X-Y: This is the graph that will show you ferrous and non-ferrous targets with the angle of the line depicting the magnitude of the ferrous / non-ferrous signal. With the new ZOOM function, it does serve as a search option but remember, colocated targets (nail and coin) will often show a signal that woudl cause you to pass it up.

2) Horseshoe: This is the ol' standby and shows relative depth (based on how much black is showing) and target composition (ferrous on the left side and non-ferrous on the right side)

3) "Peaked Curve": Not sure who uses this but it is simply a representation of your sensitivity setting and as such remains static unless you change your sensitivity.

Hope this helps
