It pains me to have to do this, but I'm selling my brand new XP Deus with 11" coil and WS5 headphones. I bought this brand from Richard's Backwoods Detectors on 4/29/2014. I tried it on two different days at two different locations, just to make sure my results were accurate. The Deus picks up the electronics on my wheelchair every time I bump my joystick to move. I just get constant feedback and chatter. I had my son try it, and he was fine as long as he stayed 10 feet away. I had contacted the manufacturer, and there is no way to change the channel manually to avoid this. In the hour and a half or so that I tried the Deus, I was really impressed, but I can't spend a full day hunting listening to all of that chatter. This machine has less than two hours of time on it. I did not even register it yet because of my initial trial and problem, so this will have a full 5-year warranty. I will include the original sales receipt, which you will need to register it for the warranty. I also just received the Andy Sabisch book (a must have,) the padded full-size carry bag, the silicone sleeve for the remote, the emergency charger, and an extra set of hardware for the coil. It will be shipped in the original box, and packed in a 2nd box for protection. My original goal was to trade towards a CTX 3030, but my son's 1970 Nova needs some work done before the 14th. So, I'm looking to sell only (unless you have a built SBC that is turnkey and ready to drop in!), asking $1600 shipped, Paypal gift option or add 3% to cover their fees. Let me know if you have any questions or want more pics.
