xp deus with just the ws4 headphones question

I am just wondering if anybody here has just the deus with the ws4 headphones only. My question is it worth it to buy the whole machine.

I got the hole detector, I think if you get a new coil you need the control box to put in numbers of coil. I got my Deus with the WS5 phones as I can't here very good and the outside noise will kill my hearing low tones. And they keep my ears warm in cold weather.

I highly recommend you get the remote with Deus setup.

I'm a new Deus user with the WS4 headphones and I agree about purchasing the remote to make it a complete package. While the manual suggests you start by using their pre-programs, there are too many hunting situations and individual preferences that require adjustments. Making adjustments with the WS4 headphones isn't ideal, especially if your glove is dirty/muddy. Also, the VDI screen on the remote is tiny. I love the remote but it's viewer screen is somewhat small compared to the competition and for this reason I do not recommend the silicone screen that is sold as an accessory. It has a slight haze making it really hard to read if it's sunny, or if it gets any dirt on it. Just go with the protective weatherproof jacket that has a clear screen.

Be advised if you purchase Deus lite version,,,, unless you have access to a remote--- no version update possible.

You can actually enter a new coil using just the headphones or WS4 controller. YOU DO NOT need the remote controller to do this.
