XT18000 I apologize if I was rude.

I always respond in kind. Even though I knew you didn't understand the post I should have let you off the hook. So here goes. I was not comparing BBS technology to BS. Did you think "BS" was some sort of other technology? BS was a play on words short for Bull Sh##. I was offering my view on people that have said BBS technology is hype or "Bull". Now for the point you asked for.The point is that if you hunt areas that are high in mineralization with hot /cold rocks that most VLF detectors can't handle resulting in poor depth, instability and constant chattering from the minerals in areas like mineralized rocky/gravel beaches, ghost town hunting in mineralized gold country and so on the Sovereign would be a very good choice. Minelabs technology doesn't use the same features like ground balancing and discrimination like other detectors to cope with these conditions. I could go on and explain exactly how that helps in more finds in those areas but I think most people already know. Please make sure I'm at least being offensive before you get offended and respond.

Crazyman: I can't help but feel that it is I who should apologize; there really was no reason for me to attack you
or your opion in the manner I did. You are correct in your summation of how BBS technology works or at least
close enough. Let's give it up where we both stand and see if we can agree to disagree on a little lighter note on the next one.
Very truly yours
