XY Screen -Easy to ID bottle caps/most junk

Im new to the deus.Ive had mine a week and did one good hunt so far with awesome results.Felt like ive been using it for ever.I ran across this Video of a guy using the XY screen.I had no clue this was there.If you watch the video you will see foil/bottle caps/iron are really easy to ID with the shapes they make on the screen.Does anyone use this method?I think it will be great for park's,places with alot of modern trash.Heres the link to the fella's Video and he shows how to acess the XY screen if you are like me and clueless to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izfzu1egbT4

It works well to about 5" there is others tricks to identify bottle caps like switching frequencies and or programs. I can identify them by sound now. Just takes time. Your ears are the best deciding factor the screen is just an aid.

I see they added a Multi TID screen as well.Do people find that useful?

I think that would be cool at parks and interesting to see how it works on finding buttons and relics...
