Hi Guys;
Just have to share my excitement!
After a long, convoluted shipping experience with UPS I got my EXP2 today!!!!
The battery is charging and I am watching the video and won't get much sleep tonight I am sure.
This forum is great for tips and incentives!

You are an awesome customer, and you have become a friend....you know who to call if you hagve any problems whatsoever! The sale is just the beginning....we are here for you whenever you need us!
Now go and show your wonderfully understanding wife why you wanted the EXP II!!!! Good Luck and Good Hunting.........

PS.........remember to send us some pics of your finds from time to time, to put up on our finds page at www.treasurehut.org.

Congrats on your Explorer 2. I'm not one to give alot of advice but I just wanted to say when you do get out and start using it don't underestimate the factory presets. A friend who convinced me to buy mine has had his for over 2 years and still uses them. He finds alot and finds it deep! I have tried to convince him to use the different settings but he refuses. Just trying to say don't feel like you need to tweak the settings to get the performance the explorer is known for. It will perform great by just turning on the power! Good luck with your new baby!

Hi Marcus,

Try and get yourself a copy of Andy Sabisch's Book "Mastering the Minelab Explorer XS & S" it will reduce the learning curve by half, it's a great help and although it's for the previous model Explorer it's very pertinent to the Explorer II.
All the best with it, your going to find lots of good stuff.

Regards.....Boony......Tassie....Australia

You will love the Explorer II. I'm still kicking around my XS and haven't made the leap to the Explorer II yet, but maybe one of these days. Best of luck to you and welcome to the Minelab family. HH.

Get yourself Some Black Widow Head phones, an X-1 probe, a Leshe Relic Shovel with the 31 inch T handle. Then get ready to dig deep. Good luck.
