This afternoon I asked my youngest daughter (9 yrs) if she wanted to go detecting. She said sure! I always take her to sandy playgrounds so she can use a sand scoop which is easier for her. She said I can't show her finds ( 2 dimes and 2 pennies) At the 2nd site she decided the play sets were calling so she decided to go play for a bit. I ended up with 19 clad coins, some cheap jewelry including two kids rings, a Chucky Cheese token, a neat glass bead, but the two best finds are a Nintendo DS game that costs about $50 and my daughter has a DS so how cool is that! Top find is a nice little 14k gold ring with a diamond. Already checked it with the diamond tester and it is real! A nice time with my daughter!
