Found some nice buttons that were all within about 5 or 6 foot from each other. 1 confederate script I, 1 yankee I and 4 flatties. I found a trumpet mouth piece nearby but still not sure if it's period or not. It was found way up on top of a hill in the woods with the other CW stuff and there's a mouth piece very similar in the Crouch book.

That's really all I care about finding anymore ... CW relics are where it's at for me

I got the relic bug MANY years ago ... but I don't have that many cw period sites around my area and what's here is yankee trash
However ... when the opportunity arrises I've been know to TRAVEL many, many miles to dig relics ... often, and all the way into Virginia if need be.
