Yesterdays finds....

I took the X-Terra 50 out for a hunt with my buddy yesterday and it was very hot and humid, but we took breaks and hunted the shade as much as possible.
There is a school nearby where they have recently scalped the soccer field to put a drainage system in, but the soil was taken down about 12 inches and the targets were few and far between although my buddy did eyeball a 1951 rosie laying on top of the ground which got out hopes up.
We checked the dirt piles too, but only got a couple of new coins there.
These finds came from the areas surrounding the fields and there is a terraced hillside that produced alot of coins this time and many times before.
I also scored my 4th dollar coin yesterday.
I will try to get some photos of the field later.
I was dissapointed to see how much soil that was removed from the field... hard to tell how many coins were taken out due to this.
Thanks for looking,
Felix

......great haul there dude!!!

Gaz.

What a bunch of quarters! Congrats on the finds. I've hunted piles of dirt before, with some success. But the greatest success has come after they spread that dirt back out! Keep your eye on where they move those dirt piles. JMHO HH Randy
