yesterday's hunt

Went to a different school yesterday to see how well it has been restocked since the last time I was there, only got to hunt for 2 hrs but ended up finding 2 quarters, 2 dimes, 9 nickels and 29 pennies (most of them zincs which wasn't a surprise since I didn't dig any the last time I was there) and what has to be the strangest thing I've found so far while detecting, the very first target I dug tid'd as a screw cap dug it up and came up with this small metal armadillo (I think it was even on its back with its feet sticking up ) anyway total finds came to $1.44 settings on the Omega were gb @ 70, sens @ 60 (emi issues) and disc set at 25 with pull tabs notched out. I think they restocked that school yard pretty good. How long was it since you hunted there before? Tom

Thanks ya'll, its probably been around 2 yrs since I last hunted there, I didn't really get to cover much ground this time, only got to hunt around both sides of a swing set and a little bit of the ground walking to and from the garbage can to get rid of my trash finds.

Not bad for a couple of hours and a great nickel count too! Armadillo is definitely a different!
