i cleared a bit of junk for 30 min yesterday till a bunch of people showed up so i hit another part of the park & found a 1934 penny also found a cool little bottle wile i was digging a deep bit o trash about a foot deep + i found 25-30 1c & 2c coins & $3.20. there's also some pics of most of my dug penny collection.

Wow! That's an awful lot of pennies Lazy. It makes me wonder how many I walk over. I'll have to dig a lot more of the higher tones.

Mick hope ya start finding them soon the deep ones sound like 1c & 2c coins.
Joel no clad here :) in Aussie Penny's & half Penny's were made from 1911 to 1965 then we changed to decimal currency so it"s old coins to me.
Leslie they ring up real well sometimes to well, when i"m hunting old coins i tend to leave the shallow bigger targets in the ground so i miss the odd one or two.
