Again, too many eyes for on-site pics. At one point, I was on my knees while looking at a wheatie I had just dug...when I looked up, there was a woman staring at me:lol: Nothin more attractive to a woman than a man with a metal detector :smoke:  She just walked away when I noticed her:biggrin:

Here are the coins pre-cleaned

The first coin I found was a 1918 Canadian Large cent. I found both the 47 rosie and 42 merc next to each other and fairly shallow. The US Large cent, on the other hand , was fairly deep. I didn't know I had the V nickel till I was back home and had time to take a good look.
Here's what I found:
A few wheaties
47 rosie
42 merc
1918 Canadian LC
1903 V nickel
1906 IH
1848 US LC

Any idea what the big thing is?

I couldn't detect today, but I did pick up a local history book at the library :biggrin:I gotta work next couple days... so, guess It'll be Sunday or next week before I'm back at it.
Till then,
have a good one,
Matt
